In December 2000, La Boheme in Watergate Street,
Chester, reopened. At the helm was and still is a Swedish restaurateur
Birgitta Kindahl and husband, Cestrian Chef Graham Burling.
Their aim was to create delicious French food with ingenious Swedish
touches.
Over 5 years they have established Aquavit, created
an exceptional eclectic cuisine, always using the freshest produce
of the finest quality. All food is homemade, right down to the
Swedish bread that precedes your meal.
"I like traditional restaurants with white table
linen, fresh flowers, soft chairs and a warm atomsphere. I want
people to feel comfortable and welcome"
Birgitta in Brilliance Magazine 2001
With it's intimate and friendly ambiance, Aquavit
is not only a romantic night out but also an ideal
venue for a leisurely lunch to break away from the office or shopping.
Why not think of Aquavit for all those special
occasions, weddings, birthdays, Chirstmas or if you ar organizing
a business meeting.
We can make a package to suit you, whatever the
occasion. To make your function extra special, we can also organise
live music, wine tasting or speciality menus to make your dining
experience unforgettable.
